Karl Lagerfeld has done it again!

I got a weird vibe from this collection. Not a bad one - just a weird one. It's like Mr. Lagerfeld was inspired by wealthy tourists or something. The looks were breezy and kept to the usual Chanel aesthetic, but there was something almost campy about them. Maybe not campy, but there wasn't the level of refinement that has come to be so closely associated with the brand. That's not to say I didn't like it. Because I totally loved it.

Also pretty awesome was the fact that Crystal Renn walked. I absolutely love her. Drop-dead gorgeous, and with a healthy figure to boot. Renn's appearance in the show was "groundbreaking" (thanks, Mr. Andre Leon Talley!), without veering into the unfavorable realm of tokenism. The show was overall fantastic and thank goodness Style.com exists, so that we mere mortals might experience its wonders. What did you think of the collection? Yay or nay? And just how gorgeous did Crytsal Renn look?!
