The grecian dresses that first attached me to Marchesa seemed to possess that perfect mix of undeniable contemporary style, timelessness, and a flattering fit. This most recent collection is following suit, and I couldn't be happier. While now, one lilac appearance aside, the designers seem to have drifted away from their goddess gowns, their essence still remains. Everything is feminine and elegant. The whole collection has a very... ambrosial air.
I think that I've died and gone to gigantic black bow heaven. And if anyone has any qualms with that little pink dress that's so shapely and sparkly, then I reckon they have a problem with me.
I really like clothes. Like really really like them. I'm also partial to classic rock and F. Scott Fitzgerald novels, but seriously. Fashion trumps all. When I'm not musing about riding boots and little black dresses, I'm either studying or exploring Chicago with my friends. Life is beautiful.
