If there were ever a rock star of fashion, it would be Calvin Klein. Fransisco Costa designs clothing that stand out in a subtle, edgy way. Fall was no exception. Not only were the clothes on the runway absolutely striking - they also drew attention to the sleek lines of the body. It also proved that minimalism is one of the most striking methods in the aesthetic world. I drool.
It just goes to show that with a little texture and shape, one color can go a very, very long way. The yellow shining dress is especially effective because all of this. There's nothing like a little sunshine for the eyes after seeing interpretation after interpretation of the little black dress.
I really like clothes. Like really really like them. I'm also partial to classic rock and F. Scott Fitzgerald novels, but seriously. Fashion trumps all. When I'm not musing about riding boots and little black dresses, I'm either studying or exploring Chicago with my friends. Life is beautiful.
