tried and true

Today I made an executive decision. Every girl on this planet needs a Columbia windbreaker or rain jacket. The weather here in my hippy town of Eugene is insane and I would be bedridden right now if it weren't for that practical navy blue coat. It's warm and just lovely. And depsite its lacking of trendy bits, it looks good and classic. Throw it over a tee, khakis, and white Keds, and you're ready to take your dog for a rainstorm walk.

In other news, I am coveting this vintage frock.

It belonged to Audrey Hepburn, and you all know she's my home girl.


Tomorrow dress as refined as humanly possible. Put on the classic black pants with a nice fitted turtleneck and matching pumps, or a penil skirt and cashmere cardigan (wool works as well). It's time to feel extremely pretty.
